Giving Through Your IRA

The IRA charitable rollover allows donors to use all or part of their required minimum distribution (up to $100,000 per person per year) to make gifts to Saint Mary's. Donors must take their required minimum distribution at age 72, but talk to us about making a gift before that age.  The IRA Charitable Gift Instructions will help you initiate the process with your advisor.

Giving Society Membership

Show your support for Saint Mary’s by joining one of our giving societies: The Madeleva Society ($1,000 and above annually), Young Madeleva Society (based on graduation year), Tower Society ($500-$999), Avenue Society ($200-$499), or Faithful Giving Society (based on number of giving years). For more information and additional giving societies, visit our giving societies page.

Electronic Funds Transfer

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) makes giving easy and convenient. When you authorize EFT, the College deducts a stated amount ($10 minimum) on the 10th of each month from your bank account. Even a small monthly gift can have a big annual impact.

Madeleva Society
$1,000 annual minimum
$84 per month with EFT

Tower Society
$500 annual minimum
$42 per month with EFT

Avenue Society
$200 annual minimum
$16.70 per month with EFT

To sign up, call (574) 284-4588 or email smcafund@saintmarys.edu.
