Announcing New Provost and Senior Vice President
Barbara May, Ph.D. will join Saint Mary’s as Provost and Senior Vice President. May comes to the College from the College of Saint Benedict & Saint John’s University in central Minnesota where she has served as academic dean since 2017. We look forward to welcoming her to campus on August 1.

College Receives $1 Million Grant for First-Generation College Student...
Saint Mary's becomes one of 10 American Talent Initiative members to receive a $1 million, five-year grant to provide direct financial support and cohort-based services to first-generation students on campus. As part of this initiative, Saint Mary's will welcome up to 20 Kessler Scholars in fall 2023.

New Vice President for Student Enrollment and Engagement is Announced
Lori Johnson ’91 will join Saint Mary's College as Vice President for Student Enrollment and Engagement. Lori comes to Saint Mary’s from Berklee College in Boston, where she has served as Associate Vice President and Dean of Student Advising and Success since 2016.

Alumna Makes History in Los Angeles
Saint Mary’s College alumna Kristin Crowley ’93 is making history as she becomes the first woman to lead the Los Angeles Fire Department. On March 25, Crowley was sworn in as fire chief in a ceremony surrounded by fellow firefighters, family, and friends.
