The Office for the Common Good, Division for Student Equity, and Student Diversity Board collaborated to bring students and faculty together to hear from South Bend immigrant and refugee advocates. October 22, 2021 Student Safety First: Lighting the Path Last fall, the recreational trail alongside Indiana 933 was opened, providing a safer path for pedestrians and cyclists. Recognizing the trail as a safer option than the narrow sidewalk, the committee set out to make it safe 24/7 by constructing light poles alongside the path. October 14, 2021 Charlot Frescoes: O'Laughlin's Hidden Treasure Saint Mary’s College and the South Bend community have been widely recognized in the world of Fine Arts for many years. The college’s artistic influence traces back to nearly eight decades ago, when our very own Sister Madeleva brought the campus and its students to the forefront of the fine arts community. October 13, 2021 Announcing CWIL Fellows The Center for Women's Intercultural Leadership (CWIL) educates and empowers women to be leaders in their local and global communities. Earlier this year, the office announced the CWIL Faculty Research Fellows program to promote faculty research on gender, women, and girls. The initial cohort of fellows for 2021-2022 was recently announced.
