Theatre Program to Put on Greek Comedy "Lysistrata"

The Saint Mary’s College Theatre Program is proud to announce "Lysistrata" as their spring production. Performances will take place in Little Theatre, Moreau Center for the Arts, at 7:30 p.m., Thursday-Saturday, March 29-31 and at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 1. "Lysistrata" is a bawdy, comedic account of one woman’s determination to bring an end to the Peloponnesian War.

Hundreds of people live and vacation around beautiful Lake Bruce in Fulton County. The quiet lake is also home to waterfowl, otters, turtles and fish. But it is not what it used to be. In the last several years pond scum and invasive species of seaweed have begun to take over. Find out how Allison Zandarski '13, a biology major, and Amy Gillan, assistant professor of education, may be able to help, thanks to a research grant they received from the College.

Looking for a closer encounter with your favorite video game? Are motion control systems like Kinect or Wii still too virtual for you? How would you feel about a robot literally chasing you across the floor? "PacBot" takes PacMan to a new level. It's one of six robot projects that Saint Mary's art students and Notre Dame engineering and computer created this semester.

College Receives 5th Volume of Heritage Edition of The Saint John’s ...

Saint Mary’s College recently received volume 2 of the rare Heritage Edition of The Saint John’s Bible. The College now has five of the seven-volume set, completing the books of the Old Testament. The Bible is a generous gift from Saint Mary’s alumna Judy Rauenhorst Mahoney (’74), announced in the fall of 2010.
