First-year Student Takes a Top Prize April 28, 2023 Sofia Dolan ‘26 entered Saint Mary’s College with a desire to fully immerse herself in the campus community. In late September, an invitation to participate in the McCloskey New Venture Competition from Stacie Jeffirs, director of the Career Crossing Office, piqued her interest. Her eagerness to be an engaged student on campus led her to submit an idea to the competition hosted by the Idea Center at the University of Notre Dame. Student-Created Coffee Shop Opens on Campus February 27, 2023 A medium cold brew with a splash of oat milk was the first order placed at Off the Avenue (O.T.A.) on Monday, February 20. Wrapping around the second floor of Spes Unica Hall, queuing to place their orders at the cafe overlooking the atrium, students, faculty, and staff had more enthusiasm than a typical Monday morning.

New Vice President for Student Enrollment and Engagement is Announced March 31, 2022 Lori Johnson ’91 will join Saint Mary's College as Vice President for Student Enrollment and Engagement. Lori comes to Saint Mary’s from Berklee College in Boston, where she has served as Associate Vice President and Dean of Student Advising and Success since 2016.
