Political science professor on State of the Union

1/26/11 Political science professor analyzes State of the Union (Fox 28)

Political science professor Patrick Pierce
was interviewed the morning after President Obama's State of the Union Address. He noted much of the speech was geared toward long-term job creation, not short-term. Pierce said with the focus on deficit reduction, short-term job creation is tough to do. The media made a lot of Republicans and Democrats sitting side by side, instead of across the aisle from each other as in the past. The professor said, as the President did, working together is more significant than sitting together.
