Skates and Snowshoes? Yes and YES!

Dear Students,

Those of you from the North know how fun it can be to play in the snow, and we couldn’t agree more! Here’s a pic I took as my husband Tom and I bundled up to take a walk along the St. Joseph River in downtown South Bend!  

When you arrive back on campus you’re going to see some pretty “cool” additions for the cold days ahead. Not only do we have a 100-foot heated tent on Library Green for dining and other gatherings, there’s a skating rink on the way! I couldn’t wait to share this news — we’re pulling together a Winter Wonderland just for you. Fire pits, cider, skating, and even snowshoeing are just a small part of festive fun awaiting your return. So, if you have skates, bring ’em! Or, we’ll have plenty for you to borrow at no cost. Snowshoes too!

I can’t wait to see you in just a few short days.
