WEI hosts ‘Thriving in the Third Act’ Workshop
November 21, 2016 (Notre Dame, Ind.) — Women’s Entrepreneurship Initiative (WEI) at Saint Mary's College and Elaine Kendell, a financial planning advisor with Raymond James, will co-sponsor a workshop titled Thriving in the Third Act with Mickey Hay, Ph.D. This informative and interactive workshop will be held on Friday, December 2 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. in Stapleton Lounge in Le Man Hall. This event is $27 per ticket. Wine and d’oeuvres will be served immediately following.
Mickey Hay, Ph.D. is a workshop facilitator, coach, teacher, and public speaker who worked for 25 years in higher education. She was a national leader in developmental education, and has presented at conferences in the U.S. and Canada. In 2012, Mickey left academia and discovered what she calls “the third act.” She subsequently created a consulting, teaching and coaching practice Thriving in the Third Act.
Hay will raise and discuss issues such as how to face change in personal or professional life, how to look forward with anticipation of freedom, perhaps doing what one has always wanted to do with authenticity and a greater sense of purpose, “We need to deal with change whether we are the ones who asked for the change or not,” Hay says.
Project Director Martha Smith said WEI is please to partner with Mickey Hay to bring this event to Saint Mary’s. “She will share important pearls of wisdom that every person undergoing a major change in his or her life needs to be reminded of and act on.”
Space is limited. Reserve your space here by November 28th. Click here for a campus map.
