Our computer science and mathematics department offers research opportunities not often found at the undergraduate level, like:
- Developing and analyzing computational methods for studying stochastic models, and using those models to accurately reflect the effects of a mumps outbreak
- Marjorie A. Neuhoff Summer Science Research Communities grant, awarded to a faculty/student pair in the sciences, to conduct their own research over the summer
In our Master of Science in Data Science program, you'll have the opportunity to engage in a real-world practicum that involves developing data analysis tools and applying them to a pressing need at an organization.
