Helen Carroll 1926

She wrote and edited for the Courier and had an article published in the first Courier regarding the admittance of non-graduates to the alumnae association. Early in her career, she taught at the College and later helped with recruitment before becoming the Executive Director of the Alumnae Association.

Sister B.A. wrote "Helen could always add details about individuals that made them ‘live’ for her audience no matter in what era they had attended Saint Mary’s. Whenever a historical reference was needed on a Saint Mary’s person, she was the person to call." She was very dedicated to Saint Mary's and helped build the alumnae network. She received an honorary degree from the College in 1974.
