FREELAND, Mich. - Saint Mary's senior Morgan Raymer was named Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Softball Pitcher of the Week for the week of April 2-8.
Raymer, a native of Mt. Washington, Kentucky, earned a win and a save as the Belles swept Adrian in league play on Sunday. In game one, she threw a complete-game victory while striking out five, walking one, and allowing just one earned run. Game two saw her throw two innings of relief work with a strikeout, no walks, and no runs while surrendering two hits.
It is the fourth MIAA Pitcher of the Week accolade of her career and second of the 2018 season.
