May 2, 2017 Four Belles Earn All-MIAA Honors, Young Repeats as MIAA MVP FREELAND, Mich. - Four Saint Mary's softball student-athletes were recognized with All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association accolades, making it the fourth instance the program has received as many honors on the all-league list. May 2, 2017 Saint Mary’s Class of 2016 graduate awarded a Fulbright Scholarship May 2, 2017 (Notre Dame, Ind.) – Saint Mary’s College is proud to announce Eleanor Jones ’16 of Valparaiso, Ind. has been awarded a Fulbright US Student Program scholarship to Mongolia to serve as an English teaching assistant and cultural ambassador for the US. Jones will be one of 1,900 US citizens to travel abroad for the 2017-2018 academic year through the Fulbright US Student Program. Her adventure begins in September and ends in June 2018. She is the ninth Saint Mary’s College student to be awarded the scholarship since 1965. Her classmate Meghan Flanagan ’16 received the scholarship in 2016.
