College Sponsors House for Rebuilding Together Read More College Sponsors House for Rebuilding Together On Saturday, April 21, Saint Mary's College students, faculty, and staff will roll up their sleeves to participate in Rebuilding Together, a community-driven effort to rehabilitate homes in South Bend. It’s the eighth year the College has been involved. Saint Mary’s volunteers will complete basic household tasks, such as painting, cleaning and planting at a Saint Mary’s sponsored home. Fire Quickly Contained in Moreau Center for the Arts Read More Fire Quickly Contained in Moreau Center for the Arts Firefighters are investigating the cause of a fire at Saint Mary’s College that occurred early this morning in the basement of Moreau Center for the Arts in a set storage area. No one was hurt. The fire alarm went off at 12:55 a.m. and Saint Mary’s College Security used fire extinguishers to keep the fire from spreading. Within a few minutes, crews from the University of Notre Dame Fire Department, the South Bend Fire Department, and Clay Fire Territory responded, which is standard procedure.
