offered his perspectives of Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels’ State of the State Address. Did he see signs that the Republican Daniels may be positioning himself as a presidential candidate in 2012? Maybe, says Savage. The Governor’s proposals for education reform would appeal to conservatives here and elsewhere. Daniels proposes sweeping changes, including a broad expansion of charter schools, school vouchers, and limits on teacher union contracts.
