Light the Night Walk 2009
Please join us for this year's annual Light the Night walk on the evening of Thursday September 30th! This event is held on the campus of Saint Mary's College and registration begins at 5:00 PM in front of Le Mans Hall.
Light the Night is an event to raise finds and awareness for Leukemia and Lymphoma research (as well as other blood cancers) and variations of the walk are held in every state. Saint Mary's is proud to be the host of the 2009 northwestern Indiana walk.
We welcome individuals as well as groups or teams. Many groups gather to walk in honor or memory of someone who is struggling with cancer or who has lost the battle with the disease. We hope that individuals and teams will raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society by having friends, families and co-workers sponsor them for the walk. However, all are welcome whether or not you are raising funds! The show of support by a large turn-out is a powerful statement of our commitment to finding a cure.
