As a Saint Mary's student, you can take advantage of the rich academic environment in the Notre Dame and greater South Bend area. Cooperative programs are available through the Northern Indiana Consortium for Education (N.I.C.E.) and the University of Notre Dame.
Notre Dame Co-Exchange Program
This exchange program is intended to enrich your choice of electives; full-time students who are enrolled in a degree program are permitted to take courses at this neighboring institution during the fall and spring semesters.
One highlight of the exchange program is the dual degree offered in engineering through which you will earn two degrees - an undergraduate degree from Saint Mary's that provides a broad liberal arts foundtaion and a second bachelor of science degree in engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
Earn an Accelerated Masters from Notre Dame
Saint Mary’s College and the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza School of Business have partnered to offer new accelerated bachelors-to-masters programming. For many Saint Mary’s students who meet the criteria for entry, the University will guarantee your advance admission to one of four of its masters programs: nonprofit administration, finance, business management, or accountancy. What's more, you will be able to complete your bachelors and masters with only one additional year of coursework—or fewer. Find out more.
N.I.C.E.
As a full-time student, you may take courses not offered at your home institution through this consortium. Saint Mary's students may be admitted to approved classes on a space-available basis during the fall and spring semesters at the following institutions: Bethel College, Goshen College, Holy Cross College, Indiana University-South Bend, Ivy Tech Community College, and Purdue College of Technology at South Bend.
