About Hannah
Hi! My name is Hannah Fischer, and I am an admission counselor at Saint Mary's. After graduating from Saint Mary's in 2011, I moved to St. Louis, MO to work for a dance company. My love of arts and dance education paired well with a Saint Mary's education, leading to a successful career in non-profit arts administration. The Avenue indeed led me home, and I am privileged to help other young women find their home at Saint Mary's. when I'm not working, you can find me teaching dance or spending time with my family.
Getting to Know Hannah
The coolest place you have visited:
South Africa! I took a gap year before going to college and studied in Pretoria for four months with an international performing arts company. I'll never forget my time there. It was truly life changing.
Your dream vacation:
Staying in a house on the ocean with family and friends, preferably in Cape Town.
Your favorite way to relax:
Practice yoga, go to dance rehearsal, or cook dinner.

I love all the small businesses, especially the community organizations. South Bend is a great place to dream and develop new ideas.

Hannah's Admission Tip for Prospective Students
Do your research and ask questions. Talk to current students and alumnae, and be open to not knowing your major. A liberal arts education is often the best way to discover your perfect major!
