Artist to Talk about Icon Exhibit

Mishawaka artist Janet L. Johnson will offer a gallery talk at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, November 3 in the Cushwa-Leighton Library about her icon exhibit on display there. An opening reception that evening begins at 5:30 p.m. The exhibit runs from October 31 through December 22. The display is in recognition of November as All Saints Month and the beginning of the season of Advent, which starts November 27. The exhibit features portraits of Christ and the saints painted in traditional icon style, along with drawings of the Madonna and Child (the Virgin Mary and Jesus).
