Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's

The annual Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's™ will take place at Saint Mary's College at noon on Saturday, September 15. Registration begins at 11 a.m. You may also register on the Alzheimer's Association website. Donations to the cause are encouraged. The walk begins and ends in front of Dalloway's Cafe (also known as the Clubhouse). Click for a campus map. The walk route will wind through the Saint Mary's campus.

The Saint Mary's and South Bend-area communities will join thousands of people across the country that are also taking part in the walk, which began in 1989. The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, this inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions. Alzheimer’s is the nation’s sixth-leading cause of death.

Office for Civic and Social Engagement (OCSE) at Saint Mary's College is hosting the event. It is the fourth annual Alzheimer’s walk on campus. Those with question can call OCSE at (574) 284-5368.
