Please, join in prayer of thanksgiving
for this Sister of the Holy Cross who
died on June 6, 2007.
Wake Service: 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2007
In Saint Angela Hall Chapel

Mass and Burial: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 2007
In Holy Cross Church, Garrett Park, Maryland.

Sister had been in Hospice care and had received the love and support of her sisters at Saint Angela’s as she peacefully prepared for her last journey to meet her God.

During the first 30 years of her ministry she served in many of the elementary schools in the eastern part of the United States, frequently staying only a year in each place. She claimed the reason for the many moves was, “She was either very flexible or difficult to get along with.” Those who knew her at all had no trouble deciding on “flexibility” as the correct descriptive word because she was always so willing to help wherever needed. Her 20 years as a school administrator in just two schools attests to her success as a compassionate leader who endeared herself to all she served.

Sister Miriam Regina is a diamond jubilarian and will be missed by her “bandmates” as they celebrate jubilee at Saint Mary’s but she will be celebrating her special jubilee in heaven. May she rest in peace.
