Please, join in prayer of thanksgiving for this Sister of the Holy Cross who died on June 6, 2008.
Sister Rose Agatha will long be remembered for her enthusiasm for life. She enjoyed what she did and did it with her whole heart.
Her dedication as a religious was part of her heritage. Nine members of her extended family were religious, four of them in Holy Cross besides her own blood sister, Sister Aloysia. It was Sister Aloysia who inspired Sister Rose Agatha as a young girl to also embrace religious life.
After spending almost forty years as an elementary teacher in the schools of the Midwest, she continued her dedication with an additional twenty years serving in parish ministries. Working with the members of Holy Cross and Saint Stanislaus parishes in South Bend, she endeared herself to all by her attentiveness to their needs. She is remember
fondly by all whose lives she touched.
Funeral arrangements for Sister Rose Agatha are pending. May she rest in peace.
