FREELAND, Mich. - Saint Mary's freshman midfielder Erin Doyle was named Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Offensive Player of the Week for games played during March 26 - April 1.
Doyle broke her own school record for goals in a single contest with nine in the Belles' MIAA victory over Alma last Friday. She also added an assist, three caused turnovers, three draw controls, and four ground balls in the team's first MIAA contest of the season. A day earlier, she led all players with seven draw controls and chipped in three goals and four ground balls in a win over Concordia Chicago.
The MIAA Offensive Player of the Week honor is the second of her career.
