About The Program

Fischoff Chamber Music Intensive, in partnership with Saint Mary’s College, supports young musicians as they dive deeply into the world of chamber music. Students will work intimately in small ensembles to strengthen both performance and life skills such as collaboration, communication, leadership, respect, and creative problem-solving through chamber music.

Students will be grouped into trios, quartets, and quintets, based upon their proficiency. They will work closely with Fischoff’s quartet-in-residence and professional musicians in a variety of settings including chamber music coaching sessions, masterclasses, workshops, solo and ensemble performances, and community engagement opportunities. Students receive free admission to all faculty concerts, and the program finale will be a capstone performance of all participating ensembles in the Moreau Center for the Arts at Saint Mary’s.
