If you would like mental health counseling, you may contact the Health and Counseling Center at (574) 284-4805 for an “Intake” appointment. SMC students are eligible for up to 8 (no-cost) confidential counseling sessions per semester, which is about 2 sessions per month, per semester. If you would like counseling that is more specialized, or more frequent than every 2-3 weeks, and/or are struggling with a potentially severe issue (i.e. eating disorders, substance abuse/addiction, borderline personality disorder, suicidality), please contact the Health and Counseling Center for a list of providers.
