What does it mean to be a Saint Mary's Alumna?
Our 20,000-plus alumnae are women with a wealth of talent, experience, and know-how, and have access to innumerable resources. They also serve as ambassadors of the lasting legacy of Saint Mary’s College. Upon graduation, our alumnae continue to support one another through the many stages of life, personally and professionally. The Career Crossings Office strengthens the Saint Mary's network for both students and alumnae by providing enduring and meaningful opportunities for each.
The Alumnae Resource Network
The Alumnae Resource Network (ARN) is a database of 8,000+ Saint Mary’s alumnae who are available for the purposes of researching career paths, conducting informational interviews, and networking during the internship or job process. The database can be searched by city, state, geographic region, employer, major, and much more! Alumnae can join to make themselves available to students and fellow alums, or use the database for your own professional networking!
Mentor and Network with Students
As an alumna, students truly enjoy hearing what you are doing—and the path that led you to where you are today. Mentoring relationships and networking is very critical throughout the lifespan and Saint Mary’s students are no exception. Many of our students find great value in developing relationships with alumnae who have forged a career path in an area that is of interest to them. Join the Alumnae Resource Network to serve as a mentor and networking contact for students. Also, join SMC Alums LinkedIn groups. Being connected in these ways, you will serve as a resource for students to contact you regarding job/internship searching, resources for relocating and much more!
