October 28, 2014 — Saint Mary’s College is proud to partner with the University of Notre Dame in sponsoring Women in Civil Rights lecture series. One talk will take place at Notre Dame and the other at Saint Mary’s, both late this week. The events are sponsored by the Saint Mary’s Office for Civic and Social Engagement and Notre Dame’s College of Arts and Letters, the Institute for Scholarship in the Liberal Arts, Multicultural Student Programs and Services, the Department of Africana Studies, the Center for Social Concerns, the Gender Studies program, the Department of History, the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies, and the Rooney Center for the Study of American Democracy.
