Application Deadlines for First-Year Students

When is the best time to apply for admission? Our applications open August 1 of your senior year, so you can apply before the school year even begins! Check out these timelines for Early and Regular Decision applicants:

Early Decision

  • Application Deadline: November 15
  • Admission Notification (priority): rolling starting in October; guaranteed by mid-December when your application is completed by November 20
  • Deposit Deadline: January 15

Regular Decision

  • Priority Application Deadline: February 15 
  • Admission Notification: rolling starting in November (generally 2-4 weeks from the date your application becomes complete)
  • Deposit Deadline: May 1

Financial Aid Deadlines

  • FAFSA Deadline: March 1 (Saint Mary's FAFSA code is 001836)
