The Higher Education Act of 1965 (HEA), as amended by the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 (HEOA), requires institutions to disclose certain information to prospective students, current students, and employees. The purpose of this web page is to provide an easily accessible source of information required to be disclosed by the HEA.

Saint Mary's College is authorized by name by the State of Indiana.

Saint Mary’s College, founded and sponsored by the Sisters of the Holy Cross, an order of the Roman Catholic Church, was chartered as an institution for women as a Catholic witness in higher education. It has continued to adhere to that focus and mission.
